The theater sits in a park along Karl Johan Gate, just in front of the Royal Palace. The architecture is interesting, and makes for some nice photos, especially with the park as a background. Stopped in to see what was going on - a contemporary production of Ibsen's Peer Gynt in Norwegian. The pleasantness of the area is enough for me to recommend it to any visitor. Architecture of the building is amazing. It looks great from each angle.
